Why do patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease have symptom of haematuria in
clinic? Indeed, haematuria is a typical and clinical symptom for PKD patients.
And generally, when patients found their urine looks red like water where flesh
is washed, they become nervous and are told to have haematuria. In fact, this is
called gross hematuria and there is also the other kind of haematuria which is
called microscopic haematuria. In clinic, we can not distinguish it and only
with the help of microscope, we can find that there are more than three red
blood cells in the urine of patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease. And
generally, gross haematuria is more serious than microscopic haematuria.
From last paragraph, we can find out that haematuria is one characteristic
sign for Polycystic Kidney Disease patients. Why does haematuria come into
being? As we know, PKD meads that there are many cysts in the kidney when the
fetus comes into being. With time passing by, cysts will grow up and begin to
squeeze the surrounding renal intrinsic cells. In renal glomeruli, there is a
filtration membrane, which can filtrate small molecules such as creatinine,
which is also the toxin that should be discharged out. However, when the renal
glomerular filtration membrane is damaged, some bigger molecules such as red
blood cells will also leak out, thus causing haematuria. Long time haematuria
can lead to many complications such as anemia, and so on.
So realizing the damage it will cause, we should take effective treatment
measures to treat it for awareness is the first step towards solution. As for
the treatment, PKD patients are strongly recommended immunotherapy, which is
also the characteristic treatment in our hospital. This immunotherapy is a
combination of Chinese medicine, stem cell transplant as well as western
medicine, which can be divided into 6 steps: systematic diagnosis, immune
inhibiting, immune tolerance, immune adjustment, immune protection, and immune
clearance. In the whole treatment, we help PKD patients recover with the help of
advanced western medicine, Chinese Medicine as well as the injection of stem
cell transplant such as Treg cell free in charge.
