Life Expectancy for IgA Nephropathy

Is IgA nephropathy serious? What is the life expectancy of IgA nephritis? It is up to which level patients are in or how serious it is. IgA Nephropathy is an immune disease, which is caused by the deposition of immune complex such as IgA in renal glomerular mesangial area. The deposition leads to inflammation, thus damaging kidney disease and leading to symptoms such hematuria, proteinuria, even high blood pressure in the later stage or levels.
IgA Nephropathy can be divided into five levels according to the renal biopsy. For example, the first level is minimal change. The second level is mild change. The third one is FSGS. The fourth level is diffuse mesengymal proliferative nephritis. The last level is diffuse sclerotic renal glomerular nephritis. These levels rank from slight damage to severe damage. In our hospital, we use immunotherapy which can be divided into 6 steps on the basis of its pathological mechanism to prolong the life expectancy.
Firstly, immune diagnosis, which can tell us immune complex deposit exactly and the exact type of immune response so that doctors can get more scientific diagnosis and arrange better treatment. As for IgA Nephropathy, the immune complex deposits onto renal mesengial area, and then we should also figure out the amount and the type.
Secondly, immune clearance can clear away the IgA immune complex in the blood, which can supply a cleaner inner environment for the treatment of kidney disease. This step is called immune clearance.
Thirdly, immune inhibition is applied. Although in the second step, the immune complex in the blood can be cleared, there is IgA immune complex depositing onto kidney, which leads to immune response. In this case, we use medicine which can stop the excessive immune response in the kidney, thus stopping the inflammation response at a rapid speed. If not, further damage on the cells of kidney will lasts, which leads to symptoms such as hematuria, proteinuria, etc.
Fourthly, in immune tolerance, we use medicine which can help us tolerant the existence of IgA on the kidney, the medicine we use is similar to those applied in the third step.
Fifthly, immune adjustment, in which step, Chinese medicines are applied, which can improve the blood circulation, including micro-blood circulation and dissolve the blood stasis. In this case, the immune complex such as IgA can be discharged out from kidney, and the immune system can be repaired.
The six one is immune protection, in which stage, we use medicine which can nourish Qi and blood to rebuild the intrinsic immune system. In addition, biochemical cell therapy is also used in clinic such as the stem cell, which can also help achieve this effect. Here I would like to points out that for those who are in the later stage such as diffuse sclerotic renal glomerular nephritis, they should apply stem cell for in this stage, there must be necrotic cells in the kidney. Stem cell can differentiate into cells which can grow into new cells, thus forming normal tissues and reviving kidney function.
In addition, after the fifth step and the last step, immunity of patients increased, in which case, the immune systems can discharge out the IgA immune complex itself, thus stopping it from depositing in the kidney and leading to immune reaction. In this case, IgA nephropathy can be treated well and the life expectancy can be prolonged. For more information, please communicate with us online or leave a message about your condition.
